Dark Ecommerce Labs, LLC, based in Wyoming, USA, operates hypedgame.com ("HYPED," "we," "us"). You can contact us about privacy at nick@darkecommercelabs.com.
This notice covers this marketing website, its articles, downloads and calculators. It does not describe data processing inside the HYPED game, Steam or Roblox. Any game accounts or online game services need their own applicable privacy information.
Information used to deliver the site
When you visit a website, your browser sends technical information needed to make the connection. This can include your IP address, the requested page and query string, browser information and a referring address, depending on your browser's settings.
Our website is hosted on an OVHcloud server in the United States. The server and hosting infrastructure process connection information to deliver pages and protect the service. Technical or security records may be created when needed to operate the infrastructure, investigate errors or address abuse. We do not use this information for personalized advertising.
Calculator inputs and shared links
The DPI and frame-time calculators calculate results in your browser. Entering a value does not send a calculator submission to us. The current site does not provide an account, comment form, mailing-list signup or purchase form.
If you select "Copy result link," the tool copies a URL containing your numeric settings to your clipboard. Anyone you share that URL with can read those values. Opening the link sends its query string with the normal page request. Shared links can also remain in browser history. Only enter the numeric settings requested by the tool; do not put personal or sensitive information into a URL.
Cookies and search reports
Our current website code does not set cookies, use browser local storage, load advertising pixels or run Google Analytics. Fonts, artwork and scripts are served from our website rather than embedded third-party widgets.
We use Google Search Console to see search and indexing reports, such as search queries, page impressions and clicks. This does not add a Google Analytics script or tracking cookie to this site.
Links to our Steam page include campaign parameters identifying HYPED and the referring page category. We do not put your name, email address or a unique visitor identifier into those parameters. Steam processes visits under its own policy.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond, handle the request and keep necessary records of the conversation. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.
We keep contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and meet applicable legal obligations. Technical records are retained according to operational, security and applicable provider requirements. We do not claim a single fixed retention period for every type of record.
Service providers and other websites
Hosting and communication providers may process information to deliver their services. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or reasonably necessary to protect the service and address fraud or abuse. We do not sell personal information collected through this website or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
When you follow an external link, the destination operates under its own terms and privacy practices. These include Steam's privacy policy, Roblox's privacy policy, and Google's privacy policy. Processing by service providers may take place outside your country, including in the United States.
Younger visitors and parents
Younger players may visit this site. The current website provides information and calculators without requiring a profile or asking for a child's name, age, email address or other personal details. We do not use targeted advertising on it.
Children should ask a parent or guardian before contacting us or sharing personal information with an external service. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information can contact nick@darkecommercelabs.com to ask us to review and, where appropriate, delete it. Before adding features that collect children's personal information, we will review the required notices and consent arrangements.

You can use the informational pages without providing calculator values or contacting us. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Where applicable, we rely on legitimate interests to deliver and secure the website and answer requests, legal obligations when we must keep or disclose information, and consent where required. You may also have the right to raise a concern with your local data protection authority. These rights depend on applicable law and may have exceptions.
