HYPED field guide Updated

A big health bar and a fast approach are different problems. This reference puts ten standard Blacksite enemies side by side so you can compare their starting values before a wave or encounter changes them.

Development data, October 6, 2026. These are base archetype values, not final encounter stats. Bosses and summoned boss entities are excluded. Balance may change before release.

Read the table as a starting point

Health is the archetype's base hit-point value. Speed is its base movement speed in meters per second. Melee damage is the base damage assigned to an ordinary melee hit. It is not a complete measure of an enemy's threat.

Special attacks, attack timing, hit-location multipliers, armor behavior and wave modifiers are outside this table. The Exploder's melee column, for example, should not be read as its explosion damage.

Three comparisons worth remembering

  • Runner and Walker: the Runner has less base health but moves more than three times as fast. Watch how quickly the gap is closing, not just how many hits you expect to need.
  • Brute and Walker: the Brute has 7.5 times the base health, but a lower base speed. Giving yourself room matters.
  • Crawler and Screamer: base stats alone do not explain the full encounter. Shape and special behavior can affect what you need to notice and how you respond.

Where the numbers come from

This snapshot is generated from HYPED's current zombie archetype registry. It exports only each listed enemy's name, base health, base speed and base melee damage. The same snapshot feeds the visible table and downloadable files, so the downloads do not contain a separate hand-maintained set of numbers.

These are authored game values, not measurements from player sessions or claims about live server performance. The snapshot date is included in the JSON. The CSV headers include the units for speed.
