A wave-survival game inside HYPED
Blacksite starts small: a handgun, a knife, and a room you have not learned yet. The current starting kit also includes a grenade. As waves arrive, the job is to keep enough space to fight and earn your way into better equipment.
This is the round-and-wave side of zombie survival. You are managing the next push, your ammunition and your route through the facility. If you are choosing between this style and a long survival sandbox, our round-based zombies guide explains the difference.
An open route is part of your loadout
A doorway is useful until you cannot get back through it. Watch the lane behind you as well as the zombies in front. A slow group can still trap you if you give away the exit while firing.
Blacksite has repairable barricades, weapon purchases and a downed-player revive system. Those mechanics pull on the same resource: your attention. Repairing, shopping or helping a teammate means spending time doing something other than shooting.
Co-op changes who has to watch what
A teammate buys you options. One player can pull pressure away while another works toward a revive. Two players can watch different entrances. Calling a reload before the last round leaves your gun is more useful than calling it after the room has filled.
The Blacksite beginner guide starts with those decisions. It does not assume a fixed squad size or promise launch settings that have not been announced.
Get to know the things chasing you
The standard roster includes Walkers, Runners, Brutes and several other enemy types. They do not all ask for the same response. The current base Runner is faster and has less health than a Walker; the Brute has much more health and moves more slowly.
We publish a sortable enemy reference with CSV and JSON downloads. It uses actual development values, labels its snapshot date, and separates base stats from the modifiers a live encounter can apply.
When can I play?
The Steam page is coming soon, and HYPED on Roblox is also coming soon. Until those links are live, the guides and data are a look at what we are building, not a claim that a public Blacksite session is available.
